Lindsey E. Fields

Focused on family law, criminal defense, personal injury, and general litigation, Lindsey E. Fields brings a client-first approach to resolving complex legal matters with empathy and strategic precision. She holds certifications in both Civil Litigation and Family Law from the Appalachian School of Law and is known for her thorough preparation and compassionate advocacy.

Lindsey began her legal career after earning a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. During her undergraduate years, she served as Defense Counsel for the Honor Court and was inducted into the Criminal Justice Honor Society, laying the foundation for her lifelong commitment to justice and ethics in practice.

While at Appalachian School of Law, Lindsey served as a Law Clerk with the Justice Law Office in Grundy, Virginia, and distinguished herself through a wide range of leadership and service roles. She was a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children, President of the Student Animal Defense League, and a student ambassador. Lindsey earned numerous honors recognizing her academic achievement and public service, including the Thomas Blackwell Memorial Award (“The Heart of ASL”) and the Willard Owens Award for Excellence in Community Service.

Lindsey was a national finalist in the 2023 and 2024 Moot Court Competitions in Child Welfare and Adoption Law and was recognized by the Family Law Section of the Virginia State Bar in 2025 for her dedication to the field. Her passion for supporting families and individuals through challenging legal situations continues to define her practice.

She is committed to delivering practical legal solutions with integrity and care. Outside the courtroom, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and extended family.
